Filmmaker - Emmys, Oscar Nominations, and two Peabody’s & Painter
“Residing in beautiful Hunterdon County, New Jersey, I am surrounded by creeks, forests, fields and hills – an abundance of scenes I want to capture or interpret on canvas. Over time my paintings evolved from more realistic scenes of the natural world to more interpreted representations, using dramatic colors to evoke fresh perspectives.
As a documentary filmmaker of many years I learned to catch a moment in time and use it to tell a larger story. That is what I seek to capture in my paintings.
Watercolorist specializing in animal art
“My art is a reflection of personal experiences
through a lifetime of observation and discovery,
resources gifted to me by my time in nature.
Each encounter fills my soul uniquely, and is
a never-ending source of inspiration.”
Beatrice Bork expresses her never ending fascination and love of animals through watercolor, imbuing sensitivity to detail and composition to create her visual poetry.
